We are committed to achieving carbon neutrality in our global wholly-owned operations by 2040. Our objective is to reduce or offset 100% of Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions from our wholly-owned manufacturing, retail, and logistics operations.

How We'll Get There

Delivering for Our Customers

Tempur Sealy is committed to exploring opportunities to reduce the environmental footprint of our delivery operations. We bolster our fleet’s efficiency by installing fuel-saving technologies, optimizing delivery routes, reconfiguring truck cube utilization, and co-locating manufacturing facilities and distribution centers for Tempur and Sealy products whenever feasible.

Responsible Lumber Sourcing

100% of the lumber used for our flat foundation bases at our Tempur-Pedic and Sealy manufacturing facilities worldwide comes from suppliers certified by the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI), Forest Stewardship Council (FSC), or Canadian Standards Association (CSA).

Zero Waste to Landfill Commitment

After achieving zero landfill waste at our wholly-owned U.S. manufacturing sites in 2022, we expanded our commitment to achieving zero landfill waste at our corporate offices and R&D labs worldwide by 2025.

Mattress End of Life

In the U.S., we recycle 100% of the Tempur-Pedic® products returned to us. Worldwide, we continue to work to identify regional recycling opportunities for returns, including exploring potential opportunities to recycle or upcycle used foams and create new channels for end-of-life mattress materials.

Our Chemical Safety Policy details how we effectively manage the chemicals in our products to ensure employee and customer safety. It includes our comprehensive chemical safety measures, regulatory compliance, rigorous product testing, and employee training.
